Persian Box: Clay Texturing, Part 5 of 5

Persian Box: Carving Texture invites participants to create an ornate, lidded clay box inspired by the rich patterns details found in Persian decorative traditions. Building on skills developed in the first four workshops, this one focuses on combining texture rollers, custom stamps, and thoughtful construction to produce a beautiful, functional keepsake.

Guided by Kristin Okhmatovski, Participants will learn how to plan and layer repeating motifs using studio-provided or their own large texture rollers from Make your Mark and  monogram and texture rollers from Monogram & Motif, create clean and stable corners, and engineer a well-fitting lid while.  Emphasis is placed on surface rhythm, proportion, and craftsmanship, resulting in a beautifully patterned box designed to hold small treasures and showcase the maker’s evolving personal style.

This February 9th workshop is the last of five, building on tools and techniques from the first four workshops, but can still be attended without the first four. These workshops can be booked individually or for a discount if you book all 5.
