Strawberries are heart medicine so treat your heart with love this Valentines Day! In this meaningful workshop, you’ll learn the technique of Metis flat beading while creating a stunning beaded strawberry—a fast project, participants will likely be able to complete during the workshop with the final portion focusing on finishing the edging. Guided step by step, you’ll learn bead placement, colour, and the cultural significance behind the craft. This workshop offers a peaceful space for reflection and creativity, and you’ll leave with a heartfelt, hand-beaded strawberry to wear or display.
Join us on February 15 from 2-5PM to create your strawberry. All supplies are included, but if you run out of time to complete your handiwork, anything required to finish it will be sent home with you. Taught by Lucy Lindell (@dotter_of_the_earth), Treaty 2 Metis artist, her expertise will ensure a successful project.
