Homeschoolers Exploring Mediums! (Age 7-14)

This daytime version of Exploring Mediums is specifically designed for homeschooled students. Exploring Mediums is a fun, hands-on art class designed to introduce young artists to a wide variety of artistic materials and techniques. Over 8 weeks, students will experiment, create, and build confidence as they discover how different mediums can express ideas in unique and exciting ways. We will be creating projects in oil paint, clay, sculpture and more!

This class encourages creativity, curiosity, and self-expression while helping students develop foundational art skills in a supportive and engaging environment. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to explore and have fun!

What Students Will Learn:

• The basics of working with different art materials
• How to choose the right medium for their ideas
• Techniques for drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media
• Creative problem-solving and artistic confidence
• How to talk about and reflect on their own artwork

Join us Thursdays from 10:00-11:30pm for 10 weeks starting October 15th!

Class dates: October 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19, 26, December 3!

There must be at least 4 full time students to run the program.
