Perfect for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills, this series introduces the core techniques of handbuilding—pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Each week you’ll learn new methods to transform simple clay into functional and sculptural forms, while exploring surface textures and finishing techniques that bring personality to your pieces.
In this free flowing class, participants will be given the skills to create a collection of unique works ranging from vessels to imaginative forms, gaining confidence and creative freedom along the way. By the end of the course, your creations will be glazed and ready to take home as lasting expressions of your artistry.
All materials, tools, and firings are included—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
