Exploring Mediums (Age 8-14)

Exploring Mediums is a fun, hands-on art class designed to introduce young artists to a wide variety of artistic materials and techniques. Over 12 weeks, students will experiment, create, and build confidence as they discover how different mediums can express ideas in unique and exciting ways.

This class encourages creativity, curiosity, and self-expression while helping students develop foundational art skills in a supportive and engaging environment. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to explore and have fun!

What Students Will Learn:

• The basics of working with different art materials
• How to choose the right medium for their ideas
• Techniques for drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media
• Creative problem-solving and artistic confidence
• How to talk about and reflect on their own artwork
