Clay Studio Sessions is an ongoing studio program for potters and clay artists who want dedicated time to create, practice, and grow their skills in a supportive community setting. Whether you’re continuing projects from a previous class or developing new ideas, studio sessions provide the space and encouragement to build confidence and deepen your practice. It is recommended that if you are new to creating with clay that you take our Handbuilding with Clay course before registering for Clay Studio Sessions.
Bring your own projects or explore new techniques at your own pace. Studio instructors will be available to answer questions and offer guidance, while still leaving plenty of room for independent exploration and creative freedom.
Join us at our Winnipeg studio in The Johnston Terminal at The Forks. All fees include the cost of clay, glazes (we carry nearly 100 different glazes!), and firing. The last Monday of each month is dedicated to glazing and pieces will be held for 1 month after final firing and must be picked up or forfeited to the Lanie Gallery of Abandoned Art.
