Join us for the first of many Metis beaded earring workshops hosted at Cartizan Studio! Tashina Broughton will be leading us as we learn to select colours, plan our designs, and teach us this modern take on traditional Metis beadwork, courtesy of her Woodland Cree heritage and many years of personal experience. No experience is necessary though as participants will be learning two-thread techniques, some experience is helpful. Stretched over two evenings to ensure you will be able to complete your project, participants will be able to leave with a beautiful pair of earrings, new skills to master over time, and a new appreciation for this Metis tradition. Supplies included, and light-up, hands free magnifying glasses are available!
