Mega Mug: Carving Texture invites participants to think big and build bold while creating an oversized, functional mug designed for maximum cold-weather comfort for your coffee or soup. Using handbuilding techniques, makers will form a generously scaled mug with an emphasis on balance, proportion, and a sturdy, well-attached handle. Using the texture roller you created in Make Your Mark, you will transform a wad of clay into a beautifully patterned, functional piece.
Guided by Kristin Okhmatovski, this workshop is perfect for anyone who loves cozy rituals, expressive surfaces, and a little extra room for their favorite drink—leaving with a one-of-a-kind mega mug that’s as fun to use as it is to make.
This January 26th workshop is part four of five, preceded by Make Your Mark, Monogram & Motif and Locked-in Lid, all which teach carving techniques. Mega Mug and Persian Box both use the texture rollers, monogram, and motif elements created in the first two workshops. These workshops can be booked individually or for a discount if you book all 5.

The glazing night for the last three workshops is included in the cost and will happen on Feb 23rd. Finished pieces can be picked up between March 2 and March 16.
